Scrolling through the sass and bideΒ blog a couple of days ago, I came across a link to a great pictorial story by fashion consultant and blogger – Natalie Joos of Β Tales of Endearment, who had visited Head Designer + Creative Director Heidi Middleton in her fantastic home at Palm Beach near Sydney. Swooon. The images show Heidi’s laid back and elegant ethnic style and lo and behold a BDWA cowrie shell purse the team had bought from me at Portobello Road a few seasons back. Heidi and Sarah-Jane are Portobello regulars and great supporters of the vintage industry, the market is where their fashion empire first started! I always look forward to their visits each Fashion Week when they show in London – their personal style is a unique and impeccable mix of vintage buys, elaborate ethnicities and designer pieces. I have reposted quite a few of Natalie’s images and not just because of our cowrie shell bag feature…as they show Heidi’s wonder-style and it’s crossover from fashion to interiors. Take a look at Natalie’s blog for more inspiring style. Dream home.
All images by Natalie Joos from her post – “A Colorful History”. With thanks. x
