banish the oil burner i say. they are not an attractive addition to any environment – whichever way you look at them. if you know of a sexy oil burner out there on the market please let me know. until i find said sexy oil burner i will continue to burn my oils from beneath a table, behind a potplant or around a corner. i didn’t mind so much the look of oil burners in my byron bay days, circa 89/90 – jesus that’s 20 years ago……burning geranium oil day in day out to balance and refresh and bring equilibrium to my emotions. peace.
my geranium oil fixation is still quite apparent, but now i burn a neals yard blend called women’s balance with rose for “serenity and poise” that’s perfect when im quite seriously mad and delusional with pmt. it really does take the edge off and i thoroughly recommend it for those of you who turn with pmt – it will help to harmonise any imbalances you might have. i swear by it.
as i write this post i’m burning another neals yard blend of spearmint and rosemary, an energising and focus oil from that’s a great kick-start to the day. i usually burn this blend in the morning and when im sitting down to focus on work – reading, writing, concentrating + not procrastinating.
i burn jasmine oil in the bedroom, its sweet, self-confident, sensual and great for getting jiggy with it….
i am rather excited about the young living oils order i have just put through after great recommendation from a friend. this is where i have gone with it….
joy – “a luxuriously exotic blend with uplifting overtones that creates magnetic energy and brings joy to the heart. When worn as cologne or perfume, Joy exudes an alluring and irresistible fragrance that inspires romance and togetherness. When diffused, it can be refreshing and uplifting.”
white angelica – “is a calming and soothing blend that encourages feelings of protection and security. It combines oils used during ancient times to enhance the body’s aura, which brings about a sense of strength and endurance. Many people use it as protection against negative energy.”
to ensure you get pure essential oils and not artificial crap buy from reputable sources. + happy burning.
