perfect pipework.

The last week has me obsessing over colour blocked interiors, so much so that I have dedicated a pinterest board to it – if you have not yet joined up and are a creative type and enjoy a storyboard or two? it’s a great way to collate ideas and share and find inspiration online. This obsession first started with my Farrow and Ball and Craig and Karl colour blocking posts last week and in my desire to find more great colour blocking ideas for the home I came across Nick Fraser’s multi-coloured powder-coated copper pipe racks in ELLE Decoration‘s March issue – which is full to the brim with great ideas btw. The “coat rack edition” as part of nick’s pipework series are perfect for hanging bathroom bits, your jewellery haul or coats at the front door and come in great variations of colour blocked combinations of colour. But be quick as they come in a limited edition of 60. Get in. Oohh, his single coat racks and candelabra as seen below are good-looking too. The colour blocking obsession continues…if you come across any great colour block ideas, interiors or products in your travels please let me know by replying to this blog post. Thanks in advance.

  • Buying a coat rack for your home can help organize an entryway, foyer, or mud room and is a virtually essential organizing accessory in households with children. There are several different types of coat rack to choose from, including free standing coat trees and wall mounted coat racks. To make the most of your space and organizing efforts, consider the overall use of your entryway or mud room while considering the type of coat rack you want to buy.’

    • So many great options out there Meredith. I have gone with a vintage French length of hooks in iron that enables many coats and other assorted accoutrement, plus great styling options too. Still….wouldn’t mind one of the above. Thanks for your comments, have a great day and happy blogging.
