Mr John Akurigo’s namesake basket has been handwoven for those who like him, like their baskets big! It takes Mr John up to 4 weeks to roll the straw and weave this especially special Art basket. He has been weaving in the “Bolga style” for over 30 years! Now, that’s what we call a “Master Weaver”. The Baba Tree saying - “We like big baskets and we cannot lie!”
